# Burning

### Description

Burning $ACR comes from various actions, of which we can distinguish:

* Buying "[unique](/whitepaper/economy/unique-nft.md)" NFT property for [$WEI](/whitepaper/economy/wei-usdwei.md)
* Buying [NRG](/whitepaper/gameplay/game-currency-nrg.md) (off-chain) game coins
* Purchasing various items such as potions for [$ACR](/whitepaper/economy/acredit-usdacr.md)

All these actions result in burning 100% of [$ACR](/whitepaper/economy/acredit-usdacr.md). In the case of [$WEI](/whitepaper/economy/wei-usdwei.md), half of the [$WEI](/whitepaper/economy/wei-usdwei.md) of the total transaction amount will be converted into [$ACR](/whitepaper/economy/acredit-usdacr.md) and completely burned, thus the game economy becomes deflationary and the token becomes more expensive with each new player who comes to the WeiWey world.
